El conjunto de datos del deslinde del Dominio Público Marítimo Terrestre (DMPT), incluidos en el Visor del Dominio Público Marítimo Terrestre, incluye en una primera fase información cartográfica y alfanumérica de las playas, las zonas húmedas, los acantilados verticales y demás bienes que determina la ley. La normativa básica de aplicación es la Ley 22/1988, de 28 de julio, de Costas, la Ley 2/2013, de 29 de mayo, de protección y uso sostenible del litoral y de modificación de la Ley 22/1988, de Costas y el Real Decreto 876/2014, de 10 de octubre, por el que se aprueba el Reglamento General de Costas. Debido a la sensibilidad y fragilidad de las costas obliga a adoptar medidas encaminadas a su conservación y protección. Por ello, es imprescindible finalizar el Deslinde del Dominio Público Marítimo Terrestre, ya que su ejecución permite conocer y delimitar los bienes que lo integran y poder, así, aplicar los instrumentos para su protección regulada por la Ley de Costas. El objetivo de este conjunto de datos es determinar el DPMT, garantizar su uso público, regular la utilización racional de los bienes y conseguir un adecuado nivel de calidad de las aguas y de la ribera del mar. La cartografía incluida en este servicio contiene las zonas definidas como Deslinde DPMT y la correspondiente información alfanumérica asociada. Los datos que se pueden consultar son: provincia, municipio, DPMT y referencia.",
